Having studied Accountancy at University in Newcastle, North of England, I then decided to diversify my skills and plucking all of my powers of originality (banality) studied Accountancy professionally while working at a media agency in that London in the hedonistic mid-90s.

Eventually weekends starting on a Wednesday lunchtime (in the pub) got boring, so I followed in the footsteps of many of my fellow countrymen – sans famine – and made my way over here for a 2-year stint in NY. That was in 1999.

During my time in NY, I have worked in media and B2B agencies but then I stumbled upon TBG early in 2011 and it quickly became my home. My skill set is particularly well-suited.

I enjoy football – the non-egg shaped ball version – and can oft be found in bars early on weekends shouting at a TV to ‘encourage’ a bunch of underpaid primadonnas 3,000 miles away. I’m not alone in that either.

I also enjoy counting, my favo(u)rite number is 7.

I have a fondness for beer, wine and gin and am an expert at staring at the sun. I once did it for over 15 minutes without blinking.
