Account Associate :: New York office

Erin Mills joined us at The Barbarian Group in May 2010 and we delighted in the ability to have her learn our Barbaric ways as an Account Associate. She came to us from Publicis, where she managed the oral health of millions. Have good teeth? It’s because of her mad awesome account management skills for Crest and Oral-B.
Before Publicis she worked as a high-powered intern at Euro RSCG Worldwide handling Kraft (specifically those delightfully buttery Ritz crackers). A 2009 Princeton Graduate in Art History, in her spare time she likes to frequent art museums, and other localities that preserve culture such as restaurants, friends’ houses, and places where everyone knows your name.
At The Barbarian Group she can usually be seen bouncing from office to office with loads of enthusiasm for whatever project she happens to get her hands on and meeting with any client that’s lucky enough to have her. Basically, she’s damn good at what she does and that’s why she’s with us.
She grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and had a blessed, sun-soaked childhood filled with lots of tree climbing and games of capture the flag throughout suburbia.

The Festival of Ideas for the New City

The Festival of Ideas for the New City represents a major undertaking for the New Museum, one of TBG’s longtime collaborators. An extremely ambitious project for The New Museum, the festival will include panels, conferences, projects, presentations, and exhibitions culminating in a two day street festival in downtown New York City.
TBG worked with The New Museum to create a simple but content-rich site where users can plan their festival visit – organizing events by date, time, location, event type and event content via the interactive map or the schedule on the Plan Your Visit page – while following the latest festival news. Whether you’re interested in attending a panel with David Byrne of Talking Heads fame or taking a bike tour of the city led by an iPhone, there is truly something for everyone.
If you’re in town this weekend, we hope you’ll stop by what is sure to be an exciting first in New York City history!
