My name is Jaime Patino-Calvo and Im currently enrolled in the BFA graphic design program at the Academy of Art University. Right now Im in my last year of school and just looking forward to experience the real industry of creative design. Im very excited to be part of the Barbarian group as an intern because it gives me the chance to talk and interact with great creatives in the field.

Im originally from Colombia, but have been living in the States for almost 11 years. I love San Francisco because because it opened the doors for many opportunities in a career where possibilities are endless. My background before going into graphic design was fine art, mostly painting, but seeing my father work on graphic design projects inspired me to follow on his foot steps. I enjoy anything that is creative colorful and has a very well developed concept and that is the main part of pretty much all of my projects that I have done in school.

Outside the creative world, I love futbol (soccer) I grew up with it and played two years of college soccer Division II. I also loved laughing and anything that deals with comedy Im all ears, that is why Im always smiling.
