Dear Barbarians,
Thank you for having me join the family! I love design and I love technology. I love driving concepts with creative uses of technology. I’ve been writing front-end code for aesthetic means for about 10 years now for a handful of award-winning studios and agencies in both San Francisco and New York City. I came to NYC in 2005 to pursue a Masters at NYUs Interactive Telecommunications Program from ‘06 – ‘08, where I started to experiment with Physical Computing. For my thesis, I decided to play around with hardware and conductive textiles, which I continue to do to this day. You can visit the ongoing Felted Signal Processing project over at FSP.fm, if you are curious! Suffices to say, one of my favorite things to think about is new interfaces for people to compute with, particularly for sound experimentation.
Extra details : I also love cats, clam strips, vinyl, textures, colors, synths, obsolete computers / video games, and karaoke. Please come by to say hi, ( especially if you have a 3DS [street pass!] ).
