Internet and Your Brain
I just came across an interesting article explaining how the brain function is being changed slightly because our new “way of life” through the internet. It’s no secret that the internet is working against us with interpersonal skills and reading emotional expression , but according to Gary Small, of UCLA, internet searching and text messaging has helped with our “snap decisions” and problem-solving skills of getting to “the answer”.
Gary also quoted:
”... the tech-savvy generation, whom he calls “digital natives,” are always scanning for the next bit of new information which can create stress and even damage neural networks.”
