The comment about the dividing line being “whether you had sex or the internet first” is brilliant. I’m not about to take a poll, but I think it explains a lot. My younger brother (by 5 years) often says that he considers it “weird” that mom and dad remember a time before the internet. When I remind him that I too remember a time before the internet, he calls me old.

I agree this is brilliant, and this is totally TMI, but I am 38, lost my virginity at a normal time and was on the internet before that (via ARPANET , then UUNET , then THE WORLD) ). Just barely. By a year or so, tops.
Ugh. That is depressing.
