We grabbed lunch from Pad Thai Café today, which I feel like has been a more frequent locale than usual of late. No complaint there on my part though. I feel like they went through a rough patch for a while a few years back where they were really hit and miss, but these days it seems they’ve really found their stride. Today I went for the Sam Noom noodles.

Funny thing about Sam Noom. Being the youngest of six children, Sam often found himself competing for food around the dinner table. This usually meant that he had to move faster than his siblings, grabbing at anything he could get his hands on before it all vanished from the table. Most experts contend that it was the random assortment of food that resulted from these dinnertime sprints that lead to the eclectic assortment of ingredients commonly found in Sam Noom noodle dishes today.
