Welcome to the Social (media) revolt

The Failure of the Bailout Bill

As soon as I saw the news of the failed bailout, I searched for some info on who voted for what. House.gov has the full breakdown (how knew that even existed?) and this article from the post had some nice commentary: “It’s no coincidence then that of the 205 Members who voted in support of the bill today, there are only two - Reps. Chris Shays (R-Conn.) and Jon Porter (R-Nev.) - who find themselves in difficult reelection races this fall. The list of the 228 “nays” reads like a virtual target list for the two parties.”

(Oh, and I’m back from vacation.)

In that tradition of excellence, we also created a bunch of original songs for the members of Photoshop Express to use in their personal slideshows. When I say “we”, I really mean my good and extremely talented friend Sean T Drinkwater. This guy isn’t messing around when it comes to music. His songs are pretty awesome. ESPN "AstroTurf" Ads, Stolen.

An interesting article on the NYT today about how almost all of the billboard and bus shelter ads created by Wieden + Kennedy for ESPN Monday Night Football that were printed on SynLawn (fake grass) had been stolen.
I don’t know…maybe I’d consider this a success? It’s pretty awesome, either way – I’d use one of those big billboard ones as a carpet.
